ABOUT THE ARTIST

Aloha, my name is Jameson. I grew up on the beautiful coast of the Pacific Northwest, in a small tourist town called Seaside, also known to many as The End of The Oregon Trail.  I’ve always had a deep respect, love and intrigue for the ocean both above and below. I am an avid scuba diver and really enjoy the hidden creatures and sea life that explore our oceans. I have always been so fascinated by beautiful perfect waves and all of those who enjoy riding them. I had a successful mural business when I lived on the mainland and did very large commercial and residential murals for Hotels, Restaurants, Amusement Parks, Hospitals and so many other businesses and Private Homes. I now live on the Big Island of Hawaii in a beautiful town called Kailua Kona, with my best friend \ love of my life and our "fur baby-chihuahua" Bogey. You can find Bogey pretty much anywhere I go because he’s my little artist assistant, and if you look close at the Art Truck you will notice that Bogey has his own small bubble window right at my feet below my easel, that’s his favorite place to sit and watch the water, Keiki and birds. You can also find Bogey in most of my murals on several islands You gotta look close though, because hes hidden pretty well in a few of them. So here’s a little back story as to why I built the Aloha Art Truck, like I mentioned previously I used to own a mural company and my favorite tool I use is spray guns and airbrushes. If you don’t know what it takes to operate those here some information, it takes power, and then it takes air compressors, and a fan and lighting is a nice touch. That’s hard to setup on the beach, and if you live in hawaii and don’t want to be cooped up in a tiny studio somewhere but instead have the ocean for your office, like I wanted you have to think outside the box, or in this case, inside the box truck lol. So I decided to build my own mobile studio-gallery with solar power, lights, a refrigerator, stereo system and so much more so I could have my very own Dream Workplace right on the beach. I even have a Tv so I can stream surf or golf competitions. If you would like to see the creation of the Aloha Art Truck click this video link. I am so inspired and mesmerized by the waters in hawaii that now it is my main focus and subject of my art. Please look through my site and if you have any questions please reach out. Aloha, and mahalo for visiting my page.
